Mrs. Natalie D. Suarez: Senior Software Engineer

Mrs. Natalie D. Suarez recently joined NSI as Senior Software Engineer. In this role, she designs and develops quantitative/computational social science modeling applications. She also supports assessment and implementation of complex enterprise application environments that provide information and knowledge discovery and extraction. Prior to joining NSI, she was a Senior Information Systems Engineer at MITRE where she designed systems architectures, supported rapid software prototyping environments, developed and integrated advanced analytic tools, evaluated commercial analytic tools, and worked with analysts to create Tactics, Technique, and Procedures (TTPs) for providing solutions with these tools. Mrs. Suarez supported projects for United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Joint Staff, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Government Printing Office (GPO), and Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE). At USSOCOM, she developed an operational software prototype to identify Improvised Explosive Device (IED) components and suppliers which was successfully transitioned to operational software.

Mrs. Suarez is a member of the Engineering Honor Society, Tau Beta Pi, and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). She currently serves as Co-Chairperson of the Tampa TechNet 2009 programs committee. She holds a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida (magna cum laude).
